Chipper Dog Meatball Sub

 
 
 

INGREDIENTS.

1lb ground beef

½ lb of bacon, finely chopped

½ cup breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons whole milk

2 eggs

2 tablespoons garlic powder

2 tablespoons onion powder

2 teaspoons salt

INSTRUCTIONS.

In a large bowl, add breadcrumbs and milk. When the bread is moistened, add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.  Once mixed, form into 1 ½ inch balls.

In a large frying pan, sear meatballs on two sides. Once seared - add 6 ounces of Chipper Dog BBQ ‘Old Yella’ sauce and 6 ounces of water to the pan. Bring the liquids to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer to braise meatballs until cooked thoroughly ( approx. 20 mins).

Serve on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomatoes & a drizzle of Chipper Dog BBQ Sauce.


